I made my first altered book this summer. I put it out at my first craft show this fall and it sold! So I made another, and it sold, too! Here are some of the pages:
I love paper: I love working with it, looking at it, buying it, organizing it, learning about it, feeling it. This has morphed into scrapbooking, decorating journals, and making greeting cards where I have been able to really let my creativity and passion for paper come alive.

Day 4 Continued
I am really not good at this. I wanted to add a couple of Mother's Day and Father's Day cards, but could not seem to attach them. So, I am starting over. This is the inside message: Next, I will try to post the Father's Day coordinated card.
Day 4 - Just 3 weeks since last entry
I am definitely improving in my times between posts. I have been very busy making cards for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and graduation. Here are a few examples of my new work for graduation. These are cards for Universities that are close by. The Congratulations on the first cardd are run-ons. The Congratulations on the second the second card are printed on a wide ribbon.
The University Papers are wrapping paper.

Day 3 - Four Months Later
I am getting better! Only 4 months since my last post! I think I am seeing more possibilities for my posts.
The Recipe scrapbook is finished. I printed out 2 copies (its a couple hundred pages), one for my kitchen and one original for the family documents at our cottage.
Everyone else will receive cd's and can print their own copies. If I have to do any more copies, I am taking it to a printer. It is really time-consuming and not pleasant to do 2-sided copying with a home printer.
Now, I can concentrate on cards, again. I just sent 178 cards to service people in Afghanistan. A local church was sending shoe boxes of goodies and sent a box of my cards for them to choose what they can use to send back home to their family and friends. It was a fun project--along with cards that I had on hand, I made a bunch related to kids and family, missing home, love, etc., that, hopefully, will be of interest to someone in a camp in the hills.

Now, with my inventory down, I am repleting it with new techniques and ideas--iris and fancy folding flowers and fairies has caught my attention for the moment. Here are a few of my recent additions:
That's it for this morning. I hope to see you again in 2 months or less!
